This workshop, hosted in Sydney, is the second of 5 workshops to be held in preparation for the National buildingSMART Conference, to be held in Sydney, Sept 10-12.

The themes of this workshop will be Cost Estimation using BIM particularly in the construction phase, and the new BIM Guidelines developed by the CRC for Construction Innovation, whose Project Coordinator is Scott Beazley. The AIQS BIM Estimation project will be described as part of that profession's development of BIM based educational resources.

The aim of this workshop is to identify and develop a presentation and/or report for the national buildingSMART Conference.
