The head of innovation and Technical information from Crossrail in the UK (wholly owned subsidiary of Transport for London) is coming to Australia on his way back from China as part of a UK Government Digital Built Britain delegation.

In this presentation, Malcolm Taylor, Head of Technical information, Crossrail, will share how Crossrail has managed to change the landscape in the UK delivering their 11 year $24 Billion program of works on schedule and within their original 2008 funding envelope.

With billions of capital works underway or planned in Australia, this is an opportunity to hear how projects can be completed on time and within budget and to hear lessons learnt along the way.

The UK Public Accounts Committee published a report – ‘Crossrail: textbook example of how to get things right’. See report here
