 rchitect's Office in conjunction with the International Alliance for I
 nteroperability - Australasia Chapter will present a vision for the co
 nstruction industry which will improve communications\, productivity\,
  delivery time\, cost and quality of building. Building Information Mo
 delling (BIM) using the IAI's open information standard IFC integrates
  design\, construction\, operations and maintenance over the life cycl
 e of buildings.\nThe meeting is a forum for government agencies and in
 dustry to discuss the opportunity IFC and BIM provide as a national st
 andard for information sharing in the Construction Industry. \nPresent
 ations will include the FM Exemplar Project case study which has exami
 ned the use of standardised BIM for FM/AM services at the Sydney Opera
  House.
