DESCRIPTION:The IAI Australasia Chapter\, sponsored by the Building Co
 mmission in Victoria\, continues its program of BIM (building informat
 ion modelling) based pilots using the IFC open data sharing protocol (
 developed by the IAI). This second meeting followed an intial meeting 
 on 28 Feb 2006\, where over 20 organisations indicated strong interest
  to participate. Over 5 projects from government and private clients h
 ave been offered\, representing housing\, offices\, educational and he
 alth facility types.\nThe meeting was addressed by visiting Finnish ar
 chitect and current chairman of the IAI Technical Committee\, Arto Kiv
 iniemi\, describing his experience with the Finnish government's now m
 any model based projects\, including the new Helsinki Music Hall.
